Overview

EU (Non-Maltese) Legal Professionals wishing to practice their legal profession in Malta will be required to register with the local competent authority. Such registration will entitle them to practise under their home country professional title. Should such professionals wish to gain admission to the legal profession in Malta they would have to apply for a local warrant.

What you'll get

Successful applicants will get to lawfully practice their legal profession in Malta under their home-country title, as evidenced by the respective Presidential Warrant.

Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must provide copies of their birth cerfificate, their identification document/passport, a certified copy of their qualification, an appostile certificate issued by the competent authority of the Member State in which the qualification has been obtained, a certificate of conduct and a certificate attesting to registration with the competent authority of the Member State concerned.
