  • Admission into Maltese State Schools

    Registration of new entrants in state schools. 

  • Application for Entry into Giovanni Curmi Higher Secondary Naxxar

    Giovanni Curmi Higher Secondary is one of the main leading 6th forms in Malta offering post-secondary tuition to students who have finished compulsory education and wish to continue their educational journey to study subjects at Advanced and/or Intermediate levels. We also offer the GEM16+ course to students who have been unable to obtain enough passes at level 3.

  • Application for school licence

    Application for Licence to operate either a Church School or an Independent School or an International School.
  • Catch Up Classes - Winter and Summer

    The Catch-Up Classes Programme – Winter and Summer is designed to support students who may need additional help with their studies, as well as those who wish to revise and feel more confident and at ease at school. The programme is open to all students from Year 1 to Year 10.

     

    This initiative provides targeted revision of material covered during the previous scholastic year. Lessons will be delivered in small year-group settings by fully qualified teachers, covering both primary and secondary levels. 

     

     

  • Free Breakfast Club Service in Primary State Schools

    An online application for the registration of students to make use of the Breakfast Club Service delivered in all Primary State Schools during the scholastic year.

  • Free School Transport

    The Government, through the Ministry for Education, Sport, Youth, Research and Innovation, currently provides free transportation to students in compulsory schooling and kindergarten, attending State, Church and Independent Schools. School transport for state schools currently services over 980 routes daily, providing transport to thousands of students.

  • Free SEC Preventive (Revision) Classes

    The FREE SEC Revision Classes are available to young people between the ages of 15 and 29 years who will be sitting for SEC resit exams in September 2026 (Ordinary Level) in the following subjects: Biology, Physics, Mathematics, Maltese and English.

     

    Students who did not obtain Level 3 in the compulsory subjects (Mathematics, English Language, Maltese and one science subject (Biology, Chemistry or Physics) may apply for the SEC Revision Classes. 

  • Klabb 3-16 After School Service

    Klabb 3-16 is an after-school care service for children between the ages of 3 and 16 years, attending State, Church or Independent schools. It is currently being operated in 39 localities and one may choose the centre that is most convenient. The service is offered from state primary schools and from Monday to Friday during the scholastic year. The operational hours during the scholastic days are between the schools’ dismissal time, till 18.00. The hours used can be tailored to one’s needs, while respecting the official dismissal schedule issued by the centre. The service also operates on a whole day basis between 07:00 hrs and 17:30 hours during school holidays, according to demand.

  • MVPA Admissions 2026/27

    Entry of students from Mlta and Gozo who were born in 2015 and who have completed year 6 and who are promising in an art form amongst Art, Music, Drama, Media and Dance. For more information -

  • Non State Schools Transport Services

    As from September 2018, the Government introduced free school transport for students attending Church and Independent Schools. Thousands of students attending these schools are eligible to benefit from this scheme.
