  • Application for a provisional certificate for foreign examinations

    Application for a provisional certificate for foreign examinations. Whenever a certificate is lost, an individual, who has set for an examination in Malta or Gozo, can fill the form to apply for a provisional certificate.

    The service applies for these examination boards:  Edexcel / University of London; AQA (Assessment & Qualifications Alliance) / AEB (Associated Examining Board); University of Oxford years range 1964 – 1999; and City & Guilds years range 1968 – 1995. The certificate will be provided by the Department of Examinations within 5 working days once all information is received.

  • Application for qualifying Supply Learning Support Educator (SLSE) examination

    An examination to qualify for the application of SLSE in the absence of possession of an ordinary level qualification in Maltese Language, and/or English language and/or Mathematics.

  • AQA Examination Applications

    This service is intended for those who wish to apply for AQA examinations.

    AQA examinations cover GCE (previously known as A-Levels) only.

  • Edexcel London Examinations

    This service is intended for those who wish to apply for Edexcel examinations.

    Edexcel examinations cover IGCSE (previously known as O-Levels) and IAL (previously known as A-Levels) only.

  • MATSEC Examinations

    MATSEC offers examinations at SEC, Advanced and Intermediate level. 

    The First/Main Session is held during the period March to June and the Second/Supplementary Session is held in September.

  • Read with Me

    The programme is intended for babies and toddlers up to 3 years and their parents/caregivers. Each session features the sharing of storybooks, the singing of nursery rhymes and other fun activities for this age group. The main objectives of the programme are to promote a love of books and to develop the child’s imagination through fun and stimulating activities.
     
    These free one hour bilingual sessions are being held in more than 50 places  i.e schools, public libraries, local councils, parish centres and open spaces across Malta and Gozo. This programme is partially sponsored by Bank of Valletta.
  • SEPTT (Spoken English Proficiency Test for Teachers) Application Form

    It is a legal requirement for teachers applying for an ELT permit in Malta to obtain a pass in the Spoken English Proficiency Test for Teachers (SEPTT).

    The SEPTT is designed to ensure high levels of spoken English proficiency amongst English Language Teaching (ELT) practitioners working in a variety of international contexts. 

    SEPTT tests candidates’ ability to use spoken English for a variety of functions, including conversing, explaining, presenting information, and giving instructions and feedback in a context specific to ELT. SEPTT is divided into three tasks and takes no longer than 15 minutes.  
  • Skolasajf

    SkolaSajf provides children aged between 3 and 16 years with the opportunity to engage in a series of cultural, artistic and physical activities, and outings, during the Summer months.

    Skola Sajf theme this year is  ‘Life is My Adventure!’

    This service is offered in various centres around Malta and Gozo including Resource Centers. There is a registration fee of €25 for each child. This year there is the possibility to have extended hours also be paid online. One can buy a package of hours for 80c per hour.
